This project was funded by Colchester Hyper Local Fund.
We carried out this emotional regulation project within Essex. the project aimed to address the rising issue of anxiety in children and young people. We provided a sequence of informative and interactive workshops aimed at equipping children and young people the knowledge and skills necessary to understand and manage their anxiety and big emotions. It was designed to be an adaptive and engaging experience that took into account the different needs of all the children involved. As part of the project also delivered training to staff and parents.
Health Champions
Having received funding from the Public Health Accelerator Bid esSENtial send consultancy CIC have teamed up with Health Talks and delivered the Youth Health Champions program in Special schools across Essex.
Harmony In Motion Dance Project
Through funding granted by Essex community foundation we were able to deliver a dance project in a secondary school within Essex. harmony in motion was a youth dance project designed to address antisocial behaviour and crime within our community by providing a positive and creative outlet for young people. The project aim to empower youth, build their self esteem and Foster a sense of belonging and responsibility. Through dance the young people learn discipline, teamwork and the value of self-expression, ultimately reducing their engagement in negative activities. The project consisted of dance workshops, mentorship programs, creative performance, educational components and community engagement.
