Volunteering abroad

My visits to Croatia

Whilst at university I embarked on Mission Croatia for two consecutive years. I had the privilege of working with children and adults with various learning difficulties and additional needs within an institution.
As a team we were able to share our practice, knowledge and expertise with the wonderful staff who worked there.

My work in India

In 2010 I volunteered at an orphanage for children with varying additional needs and disabilities in Amritsar. It was fantastic to work with the staff and support them to learn new ways to interact, teach and communicate with the children.
